We are the first company in Korea to produce elevators using mother-of-pearl lacquer, a traditional Korean technique.
In order to apply mother-of-pearl lacquer to elevators, we conducted research and development for five years starting in 2018 and succeeded in mass production. We use 100% pure natural materials such as lacquer, mother-of-pearl, and pure gold to add value to Gallery in Elevator.
Lacquer is an eco-friendly material called a natural preservative as it absorbs electromagnetic waves and has strong sterilizing power. It is resistant to moisture and heat, does not react to acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, etc., and maintains its beautiful shine for more than 10,000 years. Representative examples include the world-famous Tripitaka Koreana and the ancient artifacts displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
