At Dinacell we have developed a new system to detect breaks in elevator traction belts® in a very simple and effective way. Its innovative design allows the measurement of the electrical continuity of the tapes, using our WBD-602 equipment and a series of connectors called BCD Connectors, which are fixed at the ends of each tape. Two types are required for installation, connector A and connector B. This identification can be found very clearly on the side of each of them. On the one hand, connector A is the connector with cable, and it is placed at one of its ends next to the WBD-602 measurement equipment. Connector B is the connector without cable and is placed at the opposite end. Its design can be personalized, as these connectors are made to measure based on the capacity and cores of the elevator belt, making possible a solution adapted to the client.
